Common Silent Places

Solo exhibitionBrønshøj Water TowerCopenhagen

23–28 October 2026

Some places exist only inside us.

They can be the moment we realised we are not different. A hand that held ours. A place where we lost someone, learned to forgive, or where hope came back quietly.

For me, they were getting a coffee packed in my favourite design. Being given a vinyl with my most favourite song. Sitting by the Danube, holding each other’s backs. Or the jokes she always tells, even when darkness occupies her eyes.

Love is free of time. Some moments become more significant, while others slowly fade. But together, they fight against entropy. They bring back together something that was broken. And I think it is important to remember them.

Common Silent Places gives these emotional places a physical form. Minimal line drawings in simple wooden frames are placed directly on the concrete columns inside Brønshøj Water Tower, without drilling into or changing the building.

There is no fixed route and almost no text telling you what to see. You walk through the circular room and come across the drawings one at a time. The distances between them are part of the exhibition too: the empty concrete, the natural light, the sound moving through the tower and slowly disappearing.

The drawings begin with my memories, but they are not only about me. They are left open so you can bring your own: a person, a touch, a loss, or something small that quietly brought hope back.

The exhibition is free and non-commercial. There is no sponsor branding and no big opening night. You do not need to arrive at a particular time or understand the work in a particular way.

Come on your own time. Walk through the room. Stay with something, if it asks you to.

I hope you will come and meet the work quietly.
